As I write this New England is HOT. The climate debate is all but over. The technicians (and other EV professionals) that come to ACDC are gracing our shop so that they can get caught up on what they need to know about EVs. Battery electric powered vehicles are here and more are on the way. ACDC is ready, in fact we have been ready for over 20 years, but now we are racing against time. Not a good position to be in.

Here is what ACDC has done in the last six months:

  1. Moved into the rest of my old repair shop.
  2. Aiden has been preparing to teach and just finished two weeks doing just that
  3. Bought a Ford C-Max and a Hyundai Sonata HEV
  4. Paid for one more electric motorcycle, a Sondors Metacycle. Due to be delivered soon.
  5. Gearing up for 2-wheeled EV training
  6. Added more PICO products
  7. Had a record six months of classes
  8. Deb (my wife has retired)
  9. Preparing for advanced electrical hands-on classes
  10. Supported more “aged out foster adults” with our FAAT CATS work.

ACDC is growing.  We will hold our first event called “IGBT”, the first week of August. This is not a high-powered switch, but an “invitation only” meeting / training to provide ACDC content to other trainers worldwide. IGBT = International Gathering of the Best Trainers will have people from Puerto Rico, mainland USA, the UK, and Australia. More about that later.

Ask yourself this question. When is the best time to get ready for EVs?
