High Voltage Safety is the first step in working on any vehicle that has orange cables. During this one day class, you will be in your shop or at ACDC with different EMVs (HEV-PHEV-EV) and perform the “de-energize / safe down” procedure yourself. We will have you using safety equipment and tools. You will leave with a safety certificate, confidence, and an understanding of the high voltage power flow. You will spend over 50% of the time in the shop. Handouts will be given out in class.

More details will be provided during the enrollment process. You will need a high voltage glove set for each tech that attends. We stock recently tested and certified glove kits.  Bring your multi meter, leads, and safety gloves if you have your own. This will include one or more of our three books.
