High Voltage Safety is the first step in working on any vehicle that has orange cables. During this one day class, you will be in the shop with 6 different EMVs (HEV-PHEV-EV) and do the “safe down” procedure yourself. We will have you using safety equipmnet and tools. You will leave with a safety certifcate, confidence, and an understanding of the high voltge power flow.\u00a0 You will be in the shop over 50% of the time.\u00a0 Handouts will be given out in class.<\/div>\n

The classroom is at the end of the shop area. \u00a0You will need a high voltage glove set for each tech that attends. We stock recently\u00a0tested and certified glove kits. \u00a0Bring your multi meter, leads, and safety gloves if you have your own.<\/div>\n
