SUMMARY:Unit 3A: Introduction to Hybrid Vehicles. This will get you a working knowledge of high voltage vehicles.
DESCRIPTION:This 3-day class is all about hybrid cars.\n\n\n\n\nYou will need to have taken Unit 1 and 2 ACDC training before taking this class. Unit #1 is a one-day High Voltage Safety class. Unit #2 is a two-day deep level electrical review. You can attend without taking these two classes\, if you are an ASE certified Master with L3. Outside the USA\, talk to Craig. We recommend Unit 1 and 2 to everyone even if you are certified elsewhere.\n\n\n\n\nOver the three days of class time\, you will be in the shop with 8 different Hybrid cars. You will learn\, in simple terms\, the components in the high voltage system. Their construction and function will be explained. You will be in the shop over 50% of the time.  If you do not own the three ACDC books\, they are required. You will need a high voltage glove set for each tech that attends. We stock recently tested and certified glove kits.  Bring your multi meter\, leads\, and safety gloves.  Lunch is included\, plus snacks\, coffee and drinks.

DESCRIPTION:This is a 3-day Tesla-only class. As far as we know\, this is the only multi-day hands-on Tesla class for the aftermarket. Aiden Neary and Craig Van Batenburg will be helping you understand the Tesla scan tool\, the components\, and service information. A factory scan tool is now available\, so we have a business case for this OEM. We will focus on the Model 3. They went on sale as a M/Y 2017. 4 year-48K mile warranty. Tesla service centers are backed up.  Now is the time to get on board. Only 8 seats. Includes all service information\, hotel\, most meals\, the class\, and our new 450-page EMV book.
