DESCRIPTION:This is a 2-day class. Over the 2-days we will review the use of a DVOM\, scope patterns\, reading a wire diagram\, and more. We have a unique electrical training system built into our training center. You will be amazed at how quickly you will grasp the electrical theory. Over 50% of your time in class will be spent with a meter\, scope\, and live electrical circuits. SUMMARY:Unit 1: High Voltage Safety Class
DESCRIPTION:High Voltage Safety is the first step in working on any vehicle that has orange cables. During this one day class\, you will be in the shop with 6 different EMVs (HEV-PHEV-EV) and do the “safe down” procedure yourself. We will have you using safety equipmnet and tools. You will leave with a safety certifcate\, confidence\, and an understanding of the high voltge power flow.  You will be in the shop over 50% of the time.  Handouts will be given out in class.\n\nThe classroom is at the end of the shop area.  You will need a high voltage glove set for each tech that attends. We stock recently tested and certified glove kits.  Bring your multi meter\, leads\, and safety gloves if you have your own.\n\nWe have 3 books for sale\, you can review in class\, available for an extra fee.
