It was held until 2006 when ACDC went full bore into hybrid technology training and consulting. Well, TecSkils is back because of the demand for GREEN technology training.We hope you like it!

Time: Register at 7:30am Class starts at 8am sharp. Lunch at noon. Class ends at 4:30 but the fun is just beginning.
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, 35 Major Taylor Blvd Worcester, Mass (fly into Providence, Rhode Island rather than Boston)

What is included: Continental breakfast, lunch, workbook, CD with all power points and three hybrid related classes
1. Introduction to Hybrids ... This is an overview of the 3 basic types of hybrids on the road today. A CD of the class will be given out so you can go back to the the classroom with an entry level hybrid class suitable for any age group. SAFETY in the classroom will be a a part of this training.
2. Hybrid Electrical .. Inverters and AC Motors. In this class you will learn about Inverter operation both as a motor and a generator. You will be able to explain how ac current is produced from a dc source. We will also explain regenerative braking.
3. Introduction to Alternate Fuels: Fuel Cells and EV. This seminar will cover fuel cells and electric vehicles. These are competing technologies and we will examine both forma technical and social viewpoint. Where is the automotive future heading? You decide for yourself as we lay out the road ahead.
Limited to 40 Instructors
Four hybrids will be there for you to road test, 2001 & 2004 Prius, 2000 Insight and 2005 Escape.
8 hours of NATEF credits. This training is all GREEN, so training dollars are easier to come by.
Directions: Interstate I-290 EXit 16 and head toward the city center. Two blocks on the right is the hotel. Parking garage is across the street.
Parking: is $5.00 (street parking is limited and Worcester has lots of tow trucks.

Drive a hybrid to class and get a FREE Hybrid Hat, Laminated Safety Card and more. Craig will be your instructor. A prior ACDC hybrid class is helpful but not required.
Stay at the Hotel: Rooms are $119.00 per night plus taxes under the name ACDC. Cut off date TBA.. After that the rate is $159.00.
Evening at Unos Relax after class and continue the conversation with the other instructors you spent the day with. You know you will learn as much from the other people in class as you do from ACDC. Starts at 5:00pm and goes all night .... Cost is $23.00 Your choice of Fish, Chicken or a Pasta dinner (Unos has great food). ACDC has reserved a part of Unos just for you. Cash Bar.
Prizes to be given away at 6:00 pm. First Prize is one free seat in next years TecSkils 2011 Conference. Second Prize is our 2010 Hybrid Book in Color with DVD's. Third prize is our 2010 Hybrid Book in B/W. Fourth Prize is one FREE on-line Hybrid Class of your choice.
