Hi Craig,
Thank you so very much for allowing me to join in the training session and perform evil deeds to your car. As I had determined when taking an earlier ACDC class, your teaching style is fast paced, informative, and extremely enjoyable. Never have I attended a training event (other than yours) where some student’s heads do not “bob” with boredom at one time or another during the event. I truly came away with much more understanding of these vehicles that I could have ever anticipated. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the caliber of student attending this event was unbelievable. Never have I attended such a training course where near 100% want to be there, want to learn, and participate at a higher level than the minimum required to complete the course. This of course was reiterated in many offered comments at the closing circle get together.
Some of my OE engineering contacts have shown some tremendous interest in what we are looking at regarding future Hybrid vehicle service. I have no doubt that we have the solution in the H1000, to the cross contamination issues regarding A/C systems and electric drive compressors; and we have already made huge steps in offering proof of this capability in the case study of your 04 Prius.
In your gathering of training components, I would like to get some pics of the condition of the water cooling circuits before they are cleaned up. Do you have any such pictures? If not, would you keep this in mind as you gather more materials in the future (the worst, the better)? I believe you understand this issue; as the only way I can offer solutions to the OE’s is to identify the problems, and then present evidence of the issue and the solutions, before they are even aware of it.
Thanks again, and talk to you soon.
