Phil Fournier is a 35 year veteran of the auto repair industry, as a technician and a shop owner, as well as an automotive instructor since 1988. Phil is also a bi-lingual contract instructor, offering instruction in the Spanish language in Engine Performance and Air Conditioning.
Phil has joined the ACDC Hybrid / EV Instructor team and works with Craig Van Batenburg, Steve Ferron, Jeff Gouviea, Al Gouviea, and Jacques Gordon. The six of us exchange Hybrid and EV training and real work experience to keep up to date in the rapidly expanding world of high voltage electrification of cars around the world.
Craig met Phil in California in 2000 when he was teaching a hybrid class and walked into a scope class by mistake and heard Phil teaching it in Spanish. After a long conversation they realized they had similar views about the auto repair industry. Today they work together to offer ACDC hybrid training in more places. When Phil teaches an ACDC class the entire staff at ACDC backs him up. Craig is fussy about who teaches with an ACDC shirt and Phil more than passes his high standards.
